Armanda Pereira is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. Armanda was awarded a Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) Ph.D. grant in 2013 and completed the Ph.D. in Applied Psychology in 2018 at the University of Minho. Her research focuses on self-regulation competencies, motivational processes, metacognitive processes (e.g., critical thinking, hope), narrative-based intervention, and vulnerable populations (e.g., low SES families and developmental disorders). PI in a research line focused on inclusive education, self-regulation promotion, and developmental disorders. She is enrolled in international scientific networks and teaching activities in higher education, researchers, and practitioners addressing evidence-based interventions
