Colaboração terapêutica em acontecimentos identificados pelo cliente como sendo significativos para a sua mudança numa abordagem construtivista

A presente dissertação enquadra-se numa perspetiva de investigação
compreensiva, e tendo como referência o trabalho desenvolvido por E. Ribeiro, A. P.
Ribeiro, Gonçalves, Horvath, & Stiles (2012).
Este estudo constitui uma oportunidade de compreender a complexidade que
caracteriza o processo de colaboração terapêutica e o processo de mudança.
Tendo por base a abordagem construtivista pessoal, propomo-nos
compreender como é que a colaboração terapêutica entre o terapeuta e o cliente se
desenvolve ao longo do processo terapêutico de dois casos clínicos, um de sucesso e
outro de insucesso terapêutico. Pretende-se, igualmente caracterizar a colaboração
nos acontecimentos significativos identificados pelos clientes dos dois casos clínicos.
A dissertação organiza-se em duas partes essenciais. Na primeira parte foi
elaborado o enquadramento teórico da dimensão de colaboração terapêutica,
relacionando-a com a abordagem terapêutica construtivista. Nesta parte fizemos ainda
uma incursão pelo paradigma dos acontecimentos significativos como promotores de
mudança terapêutica. A segunda parte apresenta o estudo empírico realizado, onde
são expressas de forma clara e sucinta as questões de investigação, os
procedimentos metodológicos, a apresentação e a discussão dos resultados obtidos,
refletindo-se também acerca das limitações da investigação.

considering the work developed by E. Ribeiro, A. P. Ribeiro, Gonçalves, Horvath, &
Stiles (2012).
This study constitutes an opportunity to understand the complexity that
characterizes the process of therapeutic collaboration and the process of change.
Based on a personal constructivist approach, we propose ourselves to
understand how therapeutic collaboration between therapist and client develops along
the therapeutic process of two clinical cases, one successful and one unsuccessful
case. It is intended also to characterize the collaboration on significant events identified
by the clients of the two clinical cases.
This dissertation is organized in two parts. In the first part was prepared the
theoretical contextualization of the therapeutic collaboration dimension, relating to the
constructivist approach. In this part we did an incursion into the paradigm of significant
events as promoters of therapeutic change. The second part presents the empirical
study, in which are expressed clearly and briefly the research questions,
methodological procedures, presentation and discussion of results, reflecting also on
the limitations of the investigation.
