About
The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a set of demands that go far beyond the health and sanitary crisis. The lockdowns imposed during emergency periods brought to light and/or exacerbated social issues for which certain groups, such as immigrant women, are particularly vulnerable. This project, funded by the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund, comprises complementary studies using mixed methods. Its main objectives are to identify areas of impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the lives of third-country nationals residing in Portugal (e.g., working conditions, job loss, experience of violence, discrimination, difficulty accessing health and/or protection services); Identify the needs and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in various areas of the functioning of the lives of third-country nationals (e.g., physical health, mental health, family, social interaction, work); Additionally, it aims to assess, among professionals, the difficulties, needs, requirements, and best practices resulting from this work with immigrants during the pandemic.
