  • Why is having a discoverable online profile so important?
  • Who might be searching for me online and how?
  • How can I make sure my profile stands out and reaches the right audience?

Being easily found and contacted online by different stakeholders such as journal editors, industry professionals, journalists and fellow researchers is crucial in fostering collaborations and advancing your career. But knowing where and how to build your online researcher profiles can be an intimidating task. That’s why we created the new Nature Masterclasses course on Building a Strong Online Researcher Profile, packed full of valuable and practical tips to help you get started.

In this corresponding webinar, join C. Daniela Robles-Espinoza, Associate Professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, David Payne, Managing Editor for Careers and Supplements at Natureand Miranda Vinay, Associate Editor for Communications Engineering, as they discuss the importance of having a strong online researcher profile, how and when they look for researchers, and their advice for standing out from the crowd. They will also answer questions from the audience.

Please note that any questions should be submitted during registration, via the registration link. While we will attempt to answer as many questions as we can, in the interest of time, we may only be able to cover questions of common interest, so please keep your questions relevant to the topic of building and optimising your online researcher profile(s).

To maximise your learning experience with this webinar, we recommend you to work through our Building a Strong Online Researcher Profile course before you join the webinar.
