O CIPsi agradece...Diego Pinal

Anfiteatro EPsi |

We invite the academic community to participate in the conference "CIPsi Thanks...". With this conference, CIPsi expresses gratitude to researcher Diego Pinal for his valuable contribution to CIPsi in the Laboratory of Psychological Neuroscience over the past 7 years.

With a presentation by Professor Adriana Sampaio, Dr. Diego Pinal brings us the conference "Styling brain waves for cognitive control across the adult lifespan" on May 26th at 12:15 PM in the EPsi Amphitheater.

Abstract:
We constantly receive information recommending that we adopt an active, physical, and socially healthy lifestyle. But how do these lifestyles affect the activity of our brains and the mechanisms of cognitive control throughout life? In recent years, at the Laboratory of Psychological Neuroscience of CIPsi, we have been working to address this question with the aim of generating predictive models that provide more information about lifestyles associated with better cognitive performance and the preservation of brain activity patterns associated with this performance as we age. In this lecture, I will present the results of this project, from identifying age-related differences in brain activity related to cognitive control to the development of predictive models on cognitive performance, encompassing the interactions between lifestyle and brain activity in determining our level of performance in neuropsychological tasks for cognitive assessment.
